Our people

Richard is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of HMS and additionally oversees our CSR initiatives.

Prior to becoming COO at HMS, Richard was Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Europa Capital, where he was a member of the management committee. He previously worked for BZW in the UK M&A team before moving to Deloitte as co-head of the Real Estate Corporate Finance Advisory team.

Richard holds a master’s degree in modern history from Oxford University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Richard is also a trustee of two local charities.

Giles was part of the founding team at HMS as Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and has responsibility for financial strategy, management and control.

After working as an analyst for AstraZeneca, Giles moved to the City where he held senior finance positions within the fixed income divisions of UBS and Nomura. Prior to joining PMM, Giles was General Manager for an AIM-listed IT services company.

Giles is a qualified chartered management accountant and holds a joint honours degree in accounting and business economics from the University of Southampton.

Daniel joined HMS in early 2020 to lead business development activity and has extensive experience in advising lending institutions, investment managers and investors.

Daniel joined HMS from Apex Group, a global leader in outsourcing to the alternative fund management sector. Prior to Apex, Daniel was a founding member of Lawson Connor, leading the business to become one of the UK’s largest regulatory platforms. Daniel’s other prior experience includes KAS BANK N.V (now CACIES) and Hargreaves Lansdown. Daniel has authored a number of articles on financial regulation and fund structuring, as well as speaking at industry events.

Daryl joined HMS in 2015, initially to manage HMS’ Special Servicing Division and was appointed Head of Servicing in 2019. Daryl brings a wealth of experience from across multiple disciplines within the property market.

Initially qualifying as a valuation surveyor in 1983, Daryl later pivoted into the high-end estate agency sector of the market, becoming an equity partner and latterly a director for an international property investment company. Daryl’s final role prior to HMS was working within the residential asset management division of a major UK based property services group, specialising in property repossessions for many of the UK’s leading banks and mortgage providers

Throughout his career Daryl has been involved in originating and executing UK real estate transactions for corporate and international clients. Daryl is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Society of Mortgage Professionals.

Kate joined QSix in April 2017 as Head of Compliance. She is responsible for compliance and risk within all the entities in the Group. Kate joined QSix after a 14 year career with international insurance companies. Her last role was with Chubb Insurance where she was the European Senior Compliance Manager with responsibility for all compliance matters in the UK and Europe and was the Compliance Officer for their Lloyd’s of London Syndicate. Kate holds a Management Science degree from Southampton University and a Master’s in Law from Bristol University. She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a member of the Society of Mortgage Professionals.

Rochelle joined QSix in August 2019 as a Compliance Associate. She is responsible for compliance and risk within all entities of the firm. Prior to joining QSix Rochelle worked within the compliance department of Foxtons Estate Agents. Here she had responsibility for AML/KYC and complaint matters across 61 of its London branches. Rochelle also held roles at the Financial Ombudsman Service within the areas of mortgages, banking and payment fraud. She holds a double honours LLB Law with International Studies degree from the University of Surrey.
